Vinny Raj, PMP

Managing Director

Mr. Raj is a Managing Director and founder of Digilent Consulting, leading the company's Professional Services practice by helping clients align and leverage technology to reach their business goals.

Mr. Raj has stood-up, managed and turned-around companies and projects (up to $500MM) for over fifteen years by being a trusted advisor and partner to C-level executives. Prior to founding Digilent Consulting, Vinny was a Senior Manager with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) assisting government (federal and state) and commercial clients with CIO services (Program/Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)).

Vinny started his career working at ADAMMS Consulting Group, a supply-chain product/consulting start-up that experienced exponential growth (Inc 500) through two acquisitions and sale. This paved the way for Vinny to pursue investment banking (M&A) at Morgan Stanley before starting Online Web Software (A SaaS product company offering office productivity software). Vinny has been involved in starting, growing and selling multiple companies and continues to advise companies as a director or advisor (ExecuRental, About Objects, Swypegear, ViaNova, Counsilium). Mr. Raj enjoys combining his experience, knowledge and passion for technology and business management by providing exceptional returns on investment and optimizing operating efficiency.

Vinny likes anything that goes fast, and as such, in his spare time, you can catch Vinny tinkering with and racing cars or his full carbon-fiber framed road-bike.

Vinny was conferred a Master's degree in Information Systems Management after completing his graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University. Vinny also holds a BS in MIS and Business Administration from Duquesne University.

Neena is the Managing Partner of Digilent Consulting leading the efforts in the company's strategy and operations.

Prior to joining Digilent Consulting, Neena was a Partner at Rock Creek Group (RCG), a leading, highly respected global investment and advisory firm managing over $10Billion of Assets Under Management (AUM), a firm she worked with for over 10 years. Prior to becoming a partner at RCG, Neena played the role of Chief of Staff managing the overall back-office operations of the firm and special projects of the Office of the CEO/President.

Neena started her career as an analyst and an early employee with RCG conducting due-diligence of hedge-fund managers of various investment strategies as part of the investment and risk-management teams and special assistant to the CEO. Neena played a critical operating role in the company supporting the exceptional growth as an early employee to managing over $10Billion in AUM prior to selling a majority stake of the company to Wells Fargo.

In her spare time, Neena is a super-mom who manages the operations of a busy household while being the glue for the large extended family spread throughout the world. During her commutes, Neena enjoys reading the latest best-sellers of the year.

Dip Patel is the Director of Business Development at Digilent Consulting, managing accounts and building relationships with new and existing clients.

Prior to joining Digilent Consulting, Dip was a Program Manager at CitiGroup, a global, multi-national bank and financial services corporation, managing a portfolio of technology projects including, but not limited to CRM, Data Analytics, Portfolio Management and IT Operations.

Prior to Citi, Dip was a Program Manager at GE, responsible for interfacing with internal and external clients to drive execution on multi-million dollar programs. Dip was responsible for managing all life cycle stages of complex programs by utilizing various Project Management tools and processes to ensure control of cost and schedule of the programs. Dip was also accountable for creating and managing strategies with clients such as Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky, Boeing and ITT. Dip started his career with GE and was a recognized rising star by being promoted quickly to Program Manager in less than 5 years.

In his spare time, Dip enjoys his time working on his golf handicap and traveling.

Dip holds a bachelor's degree in MIS and Business Administration from Northeastern University. Dip also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a Lean Six Sigma Ninja with a Green Belt.
